1. The first step is to go to the samples folder located in the Flash MX folder. There you will find another folder named FLA. Double click to open it and open the file named Import_Video.fla. You will see the file has two more components including a VCR controller and an embedded video. You can press CTRL+F12 to preview the movie.
2. Create one more flash movie. The video controller will be used in this movie.
3. Click File>import. Search for the TestCard.avi video file and then import the same.
4. Select the Import_Video.fla file. Open relevant library. Just click on the label 'controller' and drag it beside the imported TestCard.avi video.
5. Press CTRL+F12 again to preview the movie and you will see the TestCard video being played with the Video controller below.
